Privacy and file retention
How ExtractoCSV processes uploaded statements, keeps results and uses service providers. Updated November 1, 2026.
Data used to provide the service
ExtractoCSV processes your uploaded statement, extracted transactions and generated CSV/XLSX files. Accounts also contain an email address, credit balance and purchase records. We use this information to sign you in, convert documents, provide downloads, handle payments and support, and investigate errors. Upload only documents you are allowed to process.
Temporary source files
An unclaimed preview expires after 30 minutes. A claimed upload or signed-in file awaiting payment expires after 24 hours. Expiry stops further use; a scheduled cleanup removes expired source files. After a successful full conversion, the source file is deleted. Failed signed-in source files are eligible for cleanup after seven days. These periods describe the service's source-file handling, not instant deletion from every provider or backup.
Results and account records
Preview rows, extracted transaction data and generated output can remain in the service after the source file is removed. CSV and Excel downloads are private to the account. Authorized service administrators can access records to provide support and investigate conversion problems. Contact us to request deletion of files or account data. Purchase and service records may need separate review.
Processing and payment providers
The service sends document content to the configured AI provider to extract transactions. It supports Google Gemini, OpenAI and Anthropic; Google Gemini is the default. Hetzner hosts the service, Cloudflare handles web traffic, Resend sends sign-in and service emails, and Stripe handles payment checkout. Do not submit documents if your organization's rules prevent this processing. Ask support about the provider in use before uploading sensitive documents.
Cookies and analytics
Session cookies keep track of sign-in, language and the preview flow. Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity and the service's own event records help us understand page visits and conversion steps. Analytics can include page addresses, referral information, device and interaction data. These systems are separate from the statement extraction process.

Use the contact address below for access, correction or deletion questions. Tell us which account or document is involved. Do not email a bank statement or password just to identify your request.
